Thanks buddy. I have learned a lot just by reading the forums. I appreciate everyone's knowledge and willingness to share. Now that I have my first post out of the way I'm sure I will be on here more asking questions, and hopefully posting more pictures and reports of good days on the lake.

I guess you would call it Habersham lake. It is one of three lakes fed by the Sequee river in Demorest. It is part of the Habersham mill property, owned by the home and property owners. Max depth is about 12 ft in the middle of the lake. Fishing has gotten better since they are dredging the river, and more fresh water is being introduced, and less silt. I've caught some great bass and bream as well it the 3 lakes.

Thanks man. I will keep a look out for the refurbished one. And it was my pleasure serving a country that has given me so much.

Welcome to the obsession (and board) from an old grunt. Great catch in this hot weather. And don't worry, soon all your free money will be going into crappie fishing.

This is a great place to learn about crappie fishing, there are some outstanding crappie fishermen in this group.
