    The water that is. The Bonne idee was HOT today.

    Surface temp was 95 when I quit. 😓

    Did manage to catch a decent mess. Had to hunt, keep moving and moving and moving.

    Bite was funny today, if they struck and you didn't hook up it was over, he wouldn't touch it again. Also lost several at top of water.

    Caught a couple off docks but most were deep on the big cypress.

    Did get to break in a brand new jig today... 😉

    P.S. it's too hot for this....




    The picture don't do it justice, this tree is at least 7 or 8 ft across at the base.

    Long sleeve breathable shirt and overalls with a wide brim hat (just got a new straw hat the day before) are the standard for me. I keep most of the sun off that way...

    Love my straw hat also.....get a new every year......just don't try to fold it up.....LOL.......
