    Default Stifling Hot (Santee)

To say it was hot out last Thursday and Friday is an understatement. Temps pushed into the triple digits on both days which made it tough on the fisherman, but the fish didn't seem to mind so much. Both days were spent fishing jigs and minnows in and around brush, while taking the time to place out numerous new brush. Fish were caught in a wide range of depths, with the slallower ones being best.

I had to dodge a few of these on both days.

As can be seen, water temps are 91.6 as I ease up to a brush.

Your a brave man, but thanks for the report, I was working in it and no fun at all. Great cooler shots.

We had some rain also which helped a little.

Ink, always enjoy your reports. You seem to put them in the boat regardless of the conditions.
