"G"'s a guber. And yep, I need a cdc pin on that hat.

And I did not bring the goobers with to throw the shells out. I et them when I got back. Once we started catching fish we we too busy to eat goobers anyway. Barely had time to answer all "G"'s texts! lol

And Speckanator, I think you're right. I done wore them out. They got sick and tired of me and finally decided to bite. As long as all those gators out there don't feel the same way, I think I'll be OK. Dang this lake got gators. They swill right up and look close at you. I thought shu was gonna be a gonner!

Great day on the water you guys, thanks for sharing. Good to see you can catch em on crankbaits. I've tried a couple times, never had a bite?

Who would think you could have a good day in the heat of July? If we keep using crank baits I'll almost think it's a valid way to fish(really need a pole in each hand). Thanks for another great trip.--shu

Great trip in the heat !!
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

Did you pull those crankbaits on a long line, or did you rig them with weights?

    Thanks.

Longline. About a cast back behind the boat. Brighter colors, silvers and chartrease. Arkie 220 series. 7-9 ft of water. 14 ft of water showed fish, but never got bit there.
