Default BLESSED ON THE BEND THIS MORNING

STARTED OUT NOT TOO GOOD TODAY. DROVE TO MY ORIGINAL PLANNED FISHING HOLE 'FORE DAYLIGHT THIS MORNING OUT OF WRIGHTS LANDING. WATER WAS TOO ROUGH TO LAUNCH. JUST SAT THERE IN THE TRUCK WATCHING THE WAVES LAP AT THE CONCRETE IN MY HEADLIGHTS. I DECIDED TO GO UP LAKE TO MY "STOMPING GROUNDS" AND TRY THAT. LAUNCHED AT OAK RIDGE PARK AND MOTORED A GOOD WAY UP RIVER TO ONE OF MY FISHING AREAS. ONCE I FOUND SOME STILL WATER IN THE BENDS AND BACKWATER WENT TO CATCHING SOME FISH. ONLY USED ONE JIG POLE AND ONE COLOR JIG (ORANGE/CHART). WOUND UP WITH 20 GOOD PERCH, SAC-A-LAIT, PAPER MOUTH, CRAPPIE, ETC. I DON'T KNOW HOW HE GOTT AWAY, 'CAUSE I HAD 21 COUNTED ON MY COUNTER BUT WHEN I GOT TO THE COUNTING AT CLEANING TIME THERE WAS ONLY 20? MUST HAVE MOVE THE ICE BAG OVER, OPENED THE LIVE WELL TOP, AND JUMPED OUT OF THE BOAT ON THE WAY HOME?

Were you fishing in flats in about 12 feet of water? My Brother just went to bass Pro and Bought a Map of the Bend wanting to do some Catfishing. I was wondering how deep the Thermocline is in the deeper parts
