Made a trip yesterday and Wednesday to the burns. Brought my niece's husband Wednesday and of course I forgot the camera AGAIN! So I don't have pictures from Wednesday but we caught about 3 bass and between 20 and 30 bream. Went back Thursday for a solo trip and caught about 14 bass (only kept 4) and about 8 bream that I kept. Here are the pictures.
Couple of random marsh pictures.
Did catch this nice chickapen.
Ran across this little guy on the way home. I told him he was safe, Tracker123 wasn't with me!
Finally a sunset picture as I was driving over the bridge.

Enjoyed the pics Dwyane! Don't usually see many pictures of those small gators. I guess they stay hidden most of the time. Good catch too! I wanted to go tonight, but truck is in the shop so no way to tow the boat...another time I guess.

Excellent pictures Dwayne once again. Really enjoyed them. Had to laugh when you thought of me with the little gator in the road - thanks. If the momma was along side the little fella, you bet it would be in the back of your truck with me.
Reminds me of once I had to go to a business meeting in Houston at the main plant. Was going there in the early morning and returning the same evening. Saw a large, probably 6 foot gator, crossing the road between Lake Charles and the state line. That gator ended up in the back of the truck. This was back in the days when weapons carried were used. Those colleagues of mine didn't know what to think about that.

That's funny Randy! Had something similar happen to be but I was a passenger and the truck in front of us ran over about a 5 foot gator and I told the guy I was riding with to pull over, we needed to get that gator! He said no b/c we were in a company truck. Well being he was the driver, I lost that argument! Funny thing is, he is more back woods than me!

Nice trip. I am surprised the grass hasn't taken over yet. We got the small boat in the water. I am waiting on the registration to come in to get a permit. Only thing left is to carpet it. I have a funny gator story. An friend of mine back in the day was driving home from Cowboys one night and heading home to Grand Cheniere. He hit an alligator just past the Gibstown Bridge. He backed up and threw it in his trunk. He woke the next morning and remember he had put the gator in his drunk. He went out and opened his trunk and found out he hit a 6ft 18 wheeler road gator......lol.
