    I believe you have this stated backwards although I've be wrong before. A falling barometric pressure is great for fishing like right before a front or storm. The rising pressure is when i have had the worst trips of my life. Example is day after front. High pressure system.

    I only question this because that is the only thing my dad would ever use to decide on when to go fish and he was one of the best fishermen I've ever heard of. Apologize in advance if I'm wrong just trying to get clarification.

    Bruce, sorry but I have to agree with Whodat. I tend to try to go when the barometer is below 30 and just stay home and do yard/house work when it is 30 or above.
