Thanks I might very well show up for that! I watched a grey headed feller check his trot line right out from where I was working and he had 3 over 10 and one that looked really close to 20 I was impressed and sure do love catching catfish!!

If it wasn't Speckanator it might have been Flycaster out doing his thing. His is a blue tracker also, no? Different style but has it's share of fish across the gunnels.

It was me and flycaster was riding shotgun......didn't have any luck but here's my story....I need to vent!!!
We fished some deep holes using beef livers, kool aid hot dogs (cherry), and live bream...NADA! So I decided that I would head to mullet lake on Monday to dig some mussels...always a go to guaranteed bait. Just by chance I did a search for a homemade rake for gettin em cause I ain't fond of gettin out of the boat and doing it by hand. Anyways...when I was much younger we'd take a garden rake and attach a chicken wire basket to it and rake em in'...I thought I might see a newer version. But this what I saw.....THEY"RE PROTECTED! When did this happen? One of nature's best and plentiful baits. It says...I can get my self out in the alligator infested river and collect them by hand but..... no more than 10 and no more than 20 per boat with two people...and you got to have a fishin license. I got the fishin license covered but if I hadn't been on the computer I would never have seen this and probably would be facing some pretty hefty fines this coming Monday. My plan was take my rake and dig about thirty and put them in the freezer for bait.
Now I got figure something else out...unless flycaster wants to wade around get em for me....

Oh lawd I had no idea either that's ridiculous! I was on airboat at Yankee lake intake treating some lettuce I spotted the rod holders in the front as you fellers approached and said emmmhmmm here comes some of my fellow crappie guys and then I seen the sticker and figured I could find ya here! I'm not sure what that guy had his trot line baited with but he surely had some fine kitties!!
