Better looking partner than Meatgetter! Need to get him one of those "scare shirts" so he will look professional. Good job on tournament, just a hair from winning!

We caught all of our fish power trolling Southern Pro Umbrella tubes with a Southern Pro Hot Grub curly tail on the back of them. We call it a Rattle Snake rig.

We pushed 3oz weights with two 1/4oz road runners on the rigs with the Southern Pro tubes and grubs at .7 to 1.1 mph. We did harm a few minners too. Had a Good Day

We caught over 50 keepers on the day, not to mention the shorts we caught, and were throwing back everything under 14" at 9:30-10 o'clock. It was a great day to fish!!!!

I'm getting better on the 4 fish hold, but my partner hasn't got the 2 fish hold down yet. Had a Good DayHad a Good DayHad a Good Day

Most are running Capps and Coleman style home tied rigs with a 1/4oz road runner tied to the bottom with a 1.5 to 2 oz and some 3 oz egg sinkers about 12 to 14" above the road runner looped 5 times with string through egg sink. The top is hooked to a number 7 to 10 size cross line swivel. A 8 to 12" lead off of top cross line swivel with an 1/8oz roadrunner. There is a trick to tieing them up to change egg sinkers quick in tournament situations but I'm sworn to secrecy to not share that one! lol!

Google power trolling! Lots of good info on the technique out there. Rigs are discussed in several articles. Very popular in MS post spawn when fish are larhargic or in summer months when fish are deeper.

I have been tieing up 2oz rigs tonight with 1/4 oz roadrunners on bottom and 1/8 oz roadrunners on top preparing for this weekend. I have different weights tied up for different depths, wind conditions and speed needed to trigger the bite!

This may not be what he had tied up but lots of folks tie these up for power trolling!

If u use fas-snaps on your rigs u can change the size or color of your road runner heads quickly with out changing the whole rig !!!!!
