Last Thursday and Friday were really nice days with little or no wind. Thursday we fished a local small (agf lake and caught several nice redear and some good bluegills. The way you fish this lake has changed dramatically in the past year or so - the little lake was covered about 20% in lily pads. For some reason, the state agf decided to kill the pads. Since most of the shellcrackers and bream were large enough to fillet we gave them to a family in our church, which does not have the opportunity to fish much. The next day we chased crappie which was stacked in on various brush piles - minnows out fished the jigs 2 to 1. Looks like the weatherman is forcasting rain for all this week but we all know the forecasters don't always get it right.

Y'all got some good ones! Congratulations on the fish and giving to those who don't get the chance to get their own.

Nice fish and a great gesture to give them to someone who can't get out.
