I'm sure there is a slot somewhere. We are in A loop at the Corp camp ground. Check around the big tent you see near a40ish.

Hello everyone, first post here. I see that y'all are having a get together this weekend at Truman. Well I find myself off of work this week/weekend (first time in about 5 yrs. I've had a Fri/Sat/Sun off) and would like to take advantage of my new found down time to get some fishing in and meet some of you. I've only fished down there once before, years ago, and would love to learn the area. Was just wondering if y'all had room for 1 more. I see its at the bucksaw campgrounds, but where exactly and when is everyone meeting up? Would love to come and be a part of it if at all possible.
Thanks, Chris

Some of them spend the whole week there, and I think they have a pot luck dinner on Friday and a big fish fry on Saturday. If you're going to camp, you may not get a site right in the middle of it all, but there is room for everyone
And welcome to the site!

Come on down and meet the gang. A-43 is general area. Should be a large tent and a bunch of people on that stretch of A loop. The couple at the guard shack/entrance to campground can point you in the right direction.

Thanks guys. Do they have any primitive camping there? It will be just myself, a hammock, and a tarp. Can't find much on the camping prices.
The trees out back of A45 will make a good hammock site... the drunk at that site may cause problems.

That would be great, but I will have my truck and boat with me, may make for tight parking...unless there is extra parking around?
Here is the link to campsites. Most of the A-40's will be crappie.com guys and gals. Find one that's available and you can reserve online or can wait and drive through and pick you one out. There is a 5-7 truck area just past our main gathering area but not much room for a boat to stay hooked up. It is the black P to the north of the sites. Camping at BUCKSAW, MO
