I totally agree but don't tell everyone pick up a used yak and get off the bank had mine a couple of weeks and have really enjoyed it.

Lol...I might try one next year. I wanted something I could take a partner on or my kids though ya know. I like to have a partner. Good luck learning the yak!
And thanks for the storing tips. I have 18 fish in that bag so when I thaw them out I want to have kids here too.

Mamba 334 this is my first yak but I bought my kids kayaks at around 8 years old and even younger. So sounds like you need more than one. I had my boys out in canoes at 5.

No Sir, my girls aren't going to want to do that. I am just now getting them into fishing, but it's hard to get a 10 year-old into fishing if the bite is not happening ya know. I don't want to ruin fishing for them, so I try to find places that are stocked for when I have them with me.

Well, my boss let me take tomorrow off, so I'm going to try to beat the rain that's moving in. I'll be at the Pier by 6AM!! Rain is supposed to move in by 12PM. Wish me luck!!!
