    You can add bases on that boat very easily. You already know that, though.

    Coupler was rusted. You wore off the rust pulling it and it grounded the lights when you did.

    Use white wire on plug and ground one end to truck and the other end to trailor and that will take care of ground. Lights will work rite after that.
