    Default Charger mounting

Since I'm redoing my some wire ends and stuff in the bilge I'm going to put in a 3 bank charger. My 2 bank i have mounted in a compartment withe the wires through a hole. I think i want to mount the ne one in the bilge so i don't have to run the wires through. Any thoughts?

Better mount it under the console......in case you forget to pull the plug again.

For real tho, it was extra work, but I mounted my 3 bank in the rod storage box because I wanted to keep it away from the vapors released when the battery is chargeing.

Mine was under the rear deck in my previous boat. In the bilge area with the batteries. Came from BPS like that.

I mounted mine in a compartment.....ran the wires through a hole with a rubber grommet.

I ran out of room in the bilge...big gas tank and too many big batteries etc.

Mike here is how I mounted mine since it was going to be on carpet. I cut a piece of wood 1/2 thick, made me some spacers and put between charger and board about 1/4 inch for air circulation. Mounted to board then mounted the board to floor.

Just screw it down in the bilge. A good charger is waterproof. Don't ask how I know this.
