Hated to miss this one, but hope to make the fall outing on the Hill. Congratulations to all who braved the hurricane winds.

Not much I can add that hasn't already been said, but I wanted to thank everyone who came out under less than ideal conditions (way less than ideal!) and made this year's CrappieFest a big success!
Congratulations to the winners who put fish in the boat amidst typhoon winds.
It was great to see new faces at this year's event as well as familiar (notice I didn't say "old") faces as well. Fun fellowship with much good-natured ribbing as always.
Watch for news of a planned fall event on the Hill as we get closer to that time. That lake has been excellent this year, and there's no telling what will grab your jig or minnow when you fish Clark's Hill.
I hope to see all our friends old and new when we get together this coming October/November.

Wow, there were a lot of folks there at this event even with the wind. Were there any folks there selling wind socks? Sure could have used one for sure. There were a lot of big smiles in those pictures and a good crowd too! Way to go everyone.
