Default Pictures from my new HB 899

Well here is some pictures from yesterday my first day with new sonar. The first 3 pictures is in front of a boat house and I would like to know if the little white spots/dots could be fish. The other pictures are just some that I took random. Would like to know it these are pretty good or how to improve them. Another question is the little swirl on the left side of the center of pictures could this be my other transducer or is it motor wash and is it normal? Understand this is my first and all ideas will be helpful to me. Now I also know why you need to get the biggest screen that you can afford. Thanks everyone for the help and comments with my new sonar.

Looks like you may be picking up your custom 2d deflector just a tad in the left SI right next to the centerline

It doesn't cover up any target echoes you would want to see ...so it may not even be an issue for your preference ...

Thanks genec that helps a whole lots, way bigger screen now in SI. If you hadn't have told me I would have never known this could be done. Just put me a pair of reading glasses in the boat also they make the smaller stuff on the screen look bigger and better also. Maybe I can get back out on the water soon and play with this new sonar. I have also learned a lots from youtube. If you or anyone else has anything else to help me I would like to know. Thanks again.

Looks like you found a pretty good spot on that old creek bed or road or what ever it was. Right where it bends back on itself should be good. Think if could I'd put some brush or PVC buckets on that edge. Unit looking pretty good.

I took a picture with my phone from Google earth on my computer to show were my sonar was when taking the SI pictures. I just have whatever came with this unit as far as maps and I don't think any of the maps has my lake on it. This is a small reservoir in Quitman,ms. called Archusa lake water park.

*Press Menu twice to get into the Main Menu System ...
*Cursor over to the Sonar tab ...
*Cursor down to "SI Readouts" ...
    *Cursor to "Off" ...

This will remove the data boxes and overlay depth and temp in the lower left corner of the full screen SI view ...
