    Default DI/SI Ducer Setup

I got this video sent to me from Nimrod. It's a great way to setup your SI/DI and Sonar transducers on your boat. This is one the customer will need to know as most dealers don't have the time to run every boat they sell to the lake and set them at the perfect angle. Hope y'all enjoy this.

One more thing to remember, and you can see this happen in the video without mentioning it. Remember WHERE your change is set under the level. You can manipulate the bubble by pushing the change forward or backwards under the level. The main thing is to get it level at In Gear Idle.

That's a great video Brm. One other thing to note is the mounting brackets that the transducers were attached to allows them to kick up the ducer if you hit something. Learned this the hard way lol too. I broke two off before getting the transducer savers.

Also if you run your front live well full then make sure it's full when you use the change to find the level like shown as adding a front live well full of water can affect the ducer position.

One other thing that was covered is that they leveled the ducer front to back but didn't say anything about left and right. The left and right is affected if you fish by your self as the boat will lean to the drivers side and back level depending on person size of another person is fishing with you.

This can be see when your side scan is running by the picture. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1455323336.067643.jpg

This ducer is mounted left to right good as you can see equal distribution of light blue (indicated by red line) on each side of the white arrow which is the center of the si ducer.

Great video wish I had this before when figuring out my units.

I found out today that my john boat takes 5 quarters and a penny. Just got to do the 2nd part tomorrow and I'll be good to go.

You better do the ducer Before you do your taxes. You won't have enough change left to get the ducer right if you wait. DI/SI Ducer SetupDI/SI Ducer SetupDI/SI Ducer Setup

NEA and Slabs is definitely an oxymoron No loan needed to try and catch one. Carol and I are wanting to give it a try, but with weather and being on call interfering, it is putting a hurt on our fishing. We are planning a trip to the land of Big Slabs in the near future, and we are hoping that "always catching" comes into play on that trip.

Thanks for the info. Just set my new SI and needed some info on how to set it up properly. Very critical to get it right so I'm learning.
