    Maybe its the operator lol Seriously....most of the time if a PC is over five years old....its not worth spending money on...best to just buy a new one.

    XP, it is a handful just to keep running without locking up. I've threatened to throw it out I the yard a hundred times. lol

    I'm still running XP and have never really hid any problems with it. No updates anymore but it does what I need it to do. I down loaded free SpyBot and Malwarebites a couple of years ago. Had to run both of them 2-3 times at first but they cleaned out a ton of malware that was affecting mine. Now I run each about once a week if I spend much time on it.

    That Spybot really helped mine the most. You will be amazed out how much of that stuff gets in there every time you get on the net.
