Lochloosa Lake The first time 1/11-12/16
We had a cabin at Lochloosa Harder, we got in Sunday night at about 6 to6;30pm wind 18-20and getting cold, We passed a BBQ place in Hawthorne we went and checked in and went back to the BBQ place they had all the chicken you can eat you know want we had a good deal for $7.95. The place was very friendly did I say good BBQ chicken toooooo. We went in got a good night sleep, When we put the boat in meet two men at boat ramp they were willing to help use get started, we went to the north end of lake and trolled with wind , stopped fishing about 5.30 went in and showered. The lady ad the BBQ place said a good seafood restaurant was in Ocala so we had the 30 shrimp dinner good place to eat. Went in fat and full. Tuesday fished a half day, Forgot camera, we put Monday's fish in my friend's cooler and Tuesday in mine I did take pictures of my cooler of fish on Wednesday ad home Temp Monday 35-57 wind 6to 15 nnw Tuesday 32-60 wind 0-7 wwn blue bird sky, water temp 57.6 to59 Monday and 57.8-60 Tuesday. We had 128 on counter for Monday and 36 keepers we caught a lot of 10 inch fish and down we kept 10and half inch fish and up, had 5 between 1;13 to 2pound 2oz that was big fish Tuesday one counter had 54 and the keeper fish had 24 on counter big fish 1pound 9oz had fun fishing with my friend and had a baste with story.

Lochloosa is escellant fishery.......good healty, broad shouldered fish.....almost
any fish 10 in and up is quality.
Hathorne BBQ - people are very nice, helpful and food is pretty good to excellant
When we (FCC) are in town 3 times a year - they open up for us at 5:00 am,
so as we can have breakfast. coffee and good start for day.
