How are you targeting the blacks?
They are anchored to weeds or structure waiting to ambush... unlike the whites that roam around following the shad no( structure need)
The blacks want it a slower speed and natural looking baits..they will hit pinks and oranges but prefer black and white and normal forage copies

What are your favorites in that category? Mad Cow and Crossbreed? Thinking about getting some more bandits too.

Do you drag it through or close to the cover the blacks are hiding in?

Arkies kick butt and take name...but with the cooler temperature they don't want that much wiggle
The Bandits have a slower wider wiggle
With that being said I use every crank made with similar size and profile and the all work at times
    Crappie
    Bass
    Bluegill
    White splatter back
    Mad cow
    Crossbreed
    Pearl white
