    Default No Shinee Hinees here.

Just got the lower unit put back together on the boat Friday and it has been killing me to not fish for a month. Had places to go on Saturday so i finally got out on Sunday. Of course Saturday was the nicer day wind wise. The wind was gusty at times. Water temperaure was 46 degrees, Fish docks on the main channels of the lake thinking that they would have move out to the deeper water but that was a waste of 1 1/2 hour. Finally fished the docks that were in 6 to 3 feet of water and thats were they were still. Started catching more bass than crappie. Caught a lot of shorts but brought home seven to cook up for dinner tonight. Caught all fish on Bobby Garland silverfish minnow mind'r. Lower unit sounded good. It felt good to be out fishing again. Way to go. Looks like a good day
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Glad you got your boat back together. That wind had to be tuff today.

You deserved some fish for getting out in that wind!!! This morning I took my Champion back down to Stockton to it's storage unit and I was running into the wind southbound until I turned east at Nevada, then it really became a crosswind issue.
Glad the motor is back in action.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.
