I've used my dub l seat on about 6 outings now. Most recently with my FIL and he is a pretty big boy. The dub l seat did great and gets 2 thumbs up from me.

That will work also! I could've bought 2 bases @ 29.99 each, then bought 2 posts for about $15 each and mounted them on my rod storage lids that way I would've had to take my seat off to access the rod box and to motor around the lake because I just lost the ability to swivel the seat out of my way. There are plenty options of GOOD double seat setups out there these days, mine is only one of them that should be considered. Some of us can't/won't just drill into our decks. Heck, I've seen fantastic set ups made from 2x4's! By all means go with what your comfortable with, can afford and is safe, and that is what you won't regret!

Just got mine in. It is really well made and the ability to adjust almost every part of it makes it fit just about any boat. It seems to be extremely well built as well. Here is mine on the Tracker Pro Team 195.

Tried them all. Even made my own the way I wanted. Johnny made me a set and there is nothing that compares to the ability to easily adjust every aspect. He just got in a giant milling machine for all parts so they are perfect and exact every time. Order ahead because he runs an oil rig tender and crew boat and is gone half of the days in a month

I purchased the Dub-L-Seat last spring and have not regretted it since! It is so adjustable, I can have the seats close together when I'm fishing with my wife, or spread them far apart when it's a guys trip, lol. Like beagle man said, it is solid and well made! Price is very fair for the product you get!!!
I just had to make my own, i like the challenge.
