you have the choice of the caliber you want in the weapon !!! IMO I would want stopping power that way there is one side of what happen !!!for me personally I like a revolver that way I have the choice of where my spent shells go !!!

    Very true!!
I actually looked at a kahr subcompact 45. Very nice thought--very small would be excellent for carry but just felt too small for me (if you can imagine that) and the grip finish was subpar but it was pretty well balanced uploaded.
Breaking them in is what I do best in my younger days I've been known to burn a few barrels out---well on 10mm and 38 super. Doubt I could afford to do it now days lol

Man it was a rough couple of weeks taking that medicine. That crap was supposed to knock me out but it kept me wide awake. Don't think I slept but a few hours a day those two weeks. On the plus side I didn't eat much and lost about 10 pounds lol.

Many will say this is not in the same class of pistols you are looking at, but I was looking for a riding/fishing partner and someone told me about a taurus pt111 g2
hickock45 made a video and compared it to a glock 26. Now, I have only shot about 200 rounds through it but I really like it.
Brand new from palmetto state armory for 200 bucks.... for that price it doesnt bother me to throw it in the storage of boat or trunk of bike.

I shot a pt111 last weekend. Found it to be very accurate and easy to use. At that price hard to find a better handgun. Jmho

Well looked at the hk with the small grip installed and the backstrap feels much better (less of a hump) haven't seen the small grip on the sig but not sure I like changing out the hole bottom half of the gun vs charging panels. I think it would be nice to have both guns. The sig in a full size and the hk in the compact. Awww if only it was a perfect world

Have you looked at a sig p229 in 40 cal. ? 12+1 RNDS, da/sa, it has a hammer and it is a sig. Like you kdavid, I like my pistols to have hammers. Lots of good striker fired guns out there. Guess the only real reason is because I started with revolvers in the late 70s.

Like it alot. It's more like the 226s I'm originally used to from back in the day. Those were what got me liking sigs. I used to work at a shop and handled every new gun that came out. Loved it. Only the money I made (it was a second job for fun) I spent on guns and hunting gear. My first one was an automag iii
30 cal. Man that was a fun one. I learned quick you don't shoot that one without ear protection lol. At one time I had a desert eagle I hunted with, a hi-power, gp100, super blackhawk hunter, delta elite, and was working on a casull. Had all of these at one time. Dropped out on the casull once I shot it a couple of times--not fun lol. those were the good ole days. Would be nice to get back to that but having a place and time to shoot daily is a big plus which I sure don't have now.
