To All The Louisiana CDC Members...And All Of Our Visitors....
I joined CDC in January 2010.....several years back, I was asked to be a Moderator.....I was getting so much from the forum, I accepted because I wanted to give back just a little.....I had no idea what a moderator was supposed to do so I spent lots of time reading the rules to help guide me.....and I got a lot of help from Slab and other moderators.....
I can honestly say, I am very proud of all you guys (and gals) out there.....we have one of the best forums on the web.....you make my job very easy.....I read every post made on the Louisiana forum and I am very happy with the way you conduct yourselves and keep the language safe for any kids watching.....it is an inspiration to me that we can come together and share without all the bickering you see on other forums...
So, all I want to say is.....Thank You.....Thank You.....Thank You.......I can not say it enough.....I am proud to be associated with you all....keep up the good work.....

Ive joined a few other forums in the past related to my other interests (guitar, woodworking, boats ETC) and this is the only one that isnt full of argumentative jerks that are always ready to start an argument or criticize people. Or make people feel like an idiot for asking a simple question...

It's the moderators that make the forum what it is. When members know the moderator is there expecting civility and friendliness, that's what you get. The opposite of "garbage in, garbage out".
