    Got my wife outta bed early to join me on Harney. Started out in 8' of water and was catching a few here and there. Spotted a local that Jeff had pointed out to me fishing shallow. Reeled the lines in to allow about 20' out and followed his lead in the opposite direction. Got into 4' and game on. Fished till 10:00 and left em still hammering away but wanted to beat the showers the news predicted. Ended with 28 in the well and another 17 getting a free pass. Fish were loving the new Slabaliscious baits from Strike King. Had a pile of gut hooked fish longlining, or well shortlining today.     Be careful now, Harney's penetrated your blood stream. Who would of thought 80 plus degree water temp & catching them in 4 ft of water. Glad wifey got in on some fish to boot !

    Wondering if that is why I hadnt found em on Monroe yet. Have to check deep in Smokehouse cove next time I try it.

    Really appreciate you pushing me to come over there. But no worry, love the 10 minute ride to Monroe once they spark up. Not many weighed today on Monroe.

    We got a limit of 40 last week fishing brush in 5 to 10 FOW, most coming in 5 FOW.
