Went Fishin Today

Do to some health issues I haven't been since May and I see the surgeon tomorrow to find out what surgery is needed on my knee. I told my wife my knee will hurt staying home or fishing so I went. I only fished from 6am to 7:30 am but I caught 10 about 12 to 13" on minnows near a overflow pipe. Water was 10' deep and they were holding about 6' deep..
Water temp was still 84° and the lake is about 6" low do to lack of rain.

Thanks for the report and hope all goes well with the knee. I know a lot of folks who have had knee surgery and most have done very well.

I've had 2 scopes on my right knee and then a total replacement and from my experience I think the Doc will tell me a need a total replacement which will ruin my fall fishing :-((((

Balckhawk19, Thank you for your service!!!! Im not far from you. Luverne. If you get a hankering to catch a old crappie while your down with the surgery, i would be glad to help with anything on a trip to get you catching again.

I went to my Orthopedic Surgeon today and was totally prepared for him to say knee replacement!
He said a lot of Surgeons would say he wants to try a different approach and try a series of cortizon
shots first and that I might still need Arthroscopic surgery to do some cleaning out on my knee, I have
a lot of arthritis build up under the knee cap and other places. When he does that he will get a better
idea on whether a replacement is needed. It's so nice to have a surgeon to walk into a room without a sacpual
in his hand!!!!!!
The only other thing I have to say is I'm going FISHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
