What the crooks were doing was washing 1's, 5's, 10's, and 20's and reprinting. The pen said it was ok because it only checks to make sure the paper is paper used for printing money, not the denomination of the bill. Ever since then I check'em against the light to make sure I see the same head in the hologram to match the head on the bill.

This is spot on! Y'all can laugh all ya want but as a retailer when ya make a deposit and your pen says all good and you just turned in 3 $100's that say $USA 5 in the strip, and they deduct $285 from you account. Not only that you more than likely gave the bastards good money back in change!!!!!!!!!! You would check those strips to!
