These Ranger spindles are removable, correct??? I removed rear castle nut but can't get it to budge.. Anyone with experience? I have a replacement hub that came from Ranger, it appears to be pre mounted on a spindle, or am I a dumda@%![]()

I wouldn't want to beat on it much as that looks like a torsion axle and you could damage it.......best to remove axle and take it to a machine shop or trailer shop and get that spindle pressed out.

Use a little heat. Torch will cause outer housing to expand and bearing/hub/spindle may slip right out?
Some are removable some are not. UFP style hubs do not have removable spindles. Yours looks like the type that are pressed in. From reading different forums, I understand the you have to beat the crap out of them sometimes to get them out. You might try a heat wrench on it first.
