    Default There I was

So ya'll may remeber I can't figure out small engines. Well I figured this kohler pos out. Took the carb off again and my focus was on this so called fuel solenoid aka anti back fire valve. Read a few lines o. Testing it--and it is bad. The plunger was stuck open preventing full fuel from flowing although the fuel bowl had fuel in it. I tried to push the plunger in and it took some force to get it in. I do need a new fuel bowl gasket but wanted to test my theory. Put it back together and cranked her over. Bam fired right up--woooo hoooo. Need to fix the oil leak from the oil drain but the turd runs. I am happy--now I can start thinking more about fishing.

Nothing is more satisfying than pushing air through a carb body and watching atomized crud poof into the air.

Now, fix the plunger where it works like it is supposed to or you will be right back in the same situation again.
