Finally got out on the water
Been laid up the past month nursing 2 surgery's on my legs and had some stents put in for blockage. I'm on the mend and got out yesterday and caught some nice fish. The weather was perfect, no wind and good temps. All fish caught on jigs in 8' to 10' fow. didn't catch big numbers but it was great to be able to get back out.

Still trying to get to where my guts feel like everything is in the right place, but progress everyday.
Even got the Slow Ride out for a few on a nice sight seeing trip out on the chain.
Wife was fussing a bit, but all went well just as I anticipated

I think my summertime game plan this year is going to be taking it easy to get ready for the fall. I have a HARD EARNED buck that I believe Vic is looking to reclaim.

Yes St u so glad u posted . Have had u on my mind hoping u were doing well and worried we hadn't seen much of u. I having my thumb joints replaced in next few weeks so crappie season won't be quite as painful next season . Be in a cast for 6 weeks on left then do right and another cast. We both should be ready about the same time. I know it's been rough. Jack and I hoping the worst is over for u.
