1/32 or 1/4 for deep.
I like 1/8 most of the time but will go to 1/16 on occasion. I always go with 1/8th when verticle jigging and when casting in the wind. Anything less than 1/8th and the wind puts too much of a bow in the line.

1/16
1\8 to 1\4 in the Spring, 1\16 to 1\8 in the Summer, 1\16 in the Fall, and 1\64 to 1\4 in the Winter. I have caught 5 inch fish on a 3" bait, and 2 3\4lb fish on a stinger with a 1\64th jig head. Let the fish tell you what they want.

1/64 oz for my area. Now I do fish them 2 or 3 at a time to double/triple my chances.
1/16 but starting to use 1/8 a lil more than I used to .
I've been using 1/32 this spring, fishing the spawn in shallow water. They seem to be moving deeper and I'll probably start using 1/16 soon, which is my usual preference for casting. In the fall I might switch to 1/8, or on windy days.
1/16oz.
