Default My fish-cation is finally over :-(

Got in one last D'arbonne trip yesterday before I go back to work. Three weeks off flys by faster than you think.

Today was Abi's turn. We caught most our fish on shiner and cork round trees and grass. We kept 17 today, she caught her first fish ever today and followed it up with several more. It's tuff work keeping a 8 yr old girl in good position to catch a fish and to keep her untangled and unhung and all the bathroom breaks required through out the day. But this big ole grin shows I did something right.....

Looks to me that you had a great fish-cation. That smile on Abi's face will live forever. When I used to take the kids fishing I left my pole at home because I knew I would spend more time straightening up lines and corks and fish. It's just more fun than trying to fish and accomplish all the above. You're a great Dad.

Great job with the kids 20watt. If I were a betting man, I would bet that you are a terrific dad. Congratulations on the added bonus of the fish you caught.

Nice fish, glad you got to go and also take the kids. Going to give them a try this morning. Find Kenny Hoover up at the mill in Crossett. He works for ABB. Tell him all his West Monroe buddies said hi.
