    Default D'Arbonne 3/30

Not sure if fish just weren't bitting that good today or I just stunk it up. I didn't see anyone else tearing it up either so I may have just been in the wrong area...

Kept 13 good fish today. Caught 4 on the bank quick this morning and thought to myself today is the day.....

After that thought I went the next hour and half without a fish so on to plan B.

I got off the bank and broke out the spider rig managed to pick up 9 more the rest of the day. Lost several good fish at top of the water.

Just got all my spider rig stuff a couple months ago and haven't used it much so far. I will say this, the learning curve on this type fishing is more than I thought it would be, it's a work in progress...

One thing I noticed that already annoys me is the constant boat traffic keeps my rod tips flopping in the air. Hard to catch fish like that....

That's good Jimmy. My buddy and I drove 150 miles to a lake today and caught zip, nada, zero. Man these bad trips are getting old.

That's about the same number I've been hearing from everyone. I caught 14 Saturday and fished all day.

From the lake to the pan. Blackened fish for fish tacos. The kids eat them up.

You gotta leave them bass rods at home if you're gonna catch a perch Danny

Didn't bite at Millwood in Arkansas today either. Maybe the barometer is rising? May be the moon phase? Either way, I'm ready to catch some more before they move back out to deeper water. GTT

Nice catch Jimmy in my book. Love me some fish tacos as well with fresh cut Pico de gallo - shouldn't have typed that, made my mouth water.
