Pictures don't do the justice on the size of that fish. Again great catch! I know when I looked up and saw that 3.92 at first I was thinking someone was just weighing in 2 fish then the crowd started "oooohhhh aaaahhhhh" and moved in to see the trophy. It was a privilege to witness it all!

I'm speechless. Ask anyone, that's even more rare than a 3.92# Crappie.

Congrats to the lad! He keeps it up and I may have to concede my One Fish Crown.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

I guess you know just how true that is. Not possible to find a more deserving young man.

We took the big mama open with a 3.92 crappie ! anyone that knows me, knows I'm rarely at a loss for words but the weight of this fish left me speechless.. But for a short time. Layne's Grandparents and I would like to thank everyone that helped make this such a special day for him. Some names off the top of my head: War Eagle Sponsors, Bandit Crank Baits, Ken Middelton, David McWilliams, Paul Johnson, Fishing For Education, Bernard Williams, Kent Driscoll and B&M Staff and all other MCC sponsors. There are just too many to name.
There is hope for me yet! Holy smokes Batman. What a Crappie.
