Started out on Sugar Creek at sunup caught 8 keepers untill we move to Sinclair around 230 we fished there until dark and caught 8 more. We found a new friend at Oconeewhen my brother backed my end of the boat to within 3 or 4 feet from his perch. I almost walked on water.

Mighty early for that bad boy to be out!
Wow. I would have went to Sinclair too. Haha
Those copper bellied water snakes are the ones that like to drop out of trees into the boat and they look just enough like moccasins to make some folks jump out of the boat!

my neighbor tried to convince my wife that the house we bought last summer was INFESTED WITH MOCCASSINS!!! "kill Em all the time! " "Gotta be a den!! " IT TOOK AN ACT OF GOD and a letter from DNR and Ga power to prove to her that they're are no MOCCASSINS on Oconee...I cleared brush..cut trees ...all that for 3 days last August....Not one snake ...Whew...she hates them thangs! BUT THAT's the biggest banned water snake I've ever seen!!!!....and I hope they are right about the moccasins... Far as dogs and kids...copperheads and rattlers are more my concern

Hey Detailman. All you need is Quick in the boat. From first hand experience, last year a snake tried to get in the boat with us. Quick.....AKA the snake charmer....was in the back of the boat and the snake tried to climb up the transom and get in the boat. All of a sudden the charmer said something, waved his hands, did a little dance and POOOOOOOF! the snake was gone. Don't know what the Charmer did, but he took care of it.. We still laugh about that to this day.
