Fished the Hill yesterday. Water temp were I was at was 56-57 degrees. Caught 45-50 and kept 29. Out of the 29, only 12 were females with eggs. The rest were large males. I think the Hill is going to bust loose this next week. Hooked 15-20 more keepers but just couldn't keep them rascals on the hook. Tried all the secrets I knew to keep fish on but just couldn't figure why they kept getting off. All in all it was a great day. Only saw 4 boats the entire day and when they passed me they were at idle speed.. The 29 I kept ended up averaging just over a 1lb and a quarter each.
