There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.ripnlips LIKED above post

Wow! You said to take a look. And I know you see them things out there better than I do. You must of got one of their brothers during the season, and they seen you coming. Remember it's just a truck (insured) and as long as your ok that's what counts. Looks like you did get some fish....

To make things worst that darn lid that blew up on the boat broke one of my fishing reels. I guess I better fix it before it causes anymore trouble. I still had fun and can't wait to go again.

Thanks all had a great day. Greg you are right in the ballpark why you the big dog now. What amazed me was before I came to a stop onstar was asking me if I needed an ambulance! I had told the Mrs. no need for that stuff of course she won I always end up in no bar no signal zones she said keep it. Did not need to make any calls they took care of everthing quess I will keep on keeping it. Body shop said about 10 days and I can get the boat back out. Good luck to all and the fish are biting lets get more pics.![]()

Sorry about your truck, but what an awesome attitude. I blew a bearing and put a trailer on the pavement once. Tore up the axle. As luck would have it only 2 miles from a boat dealer. Wreckered it over and convinced the guy I was not leaving without my boat, unless he did not want the job. He hung it and put a kid on it. At 11:30 and $500 later it was ready. My 2 buddies said why are you heading south. I said we closer to the landing than the house. Launched at 1:15. Limit of speckled trout by 4:30. Home by 8:00. Can't let little things distract you from a good fishing trip!!
