Here you go I've been going to Greers ferry for years and here are some of my notes and gps locations for crappie:

Fairfield bay fishing notes:


Main stripper fishing is located between Fairfield bay and Choctaw rec area,


Main crappie fishing zone is west of the Choctaw marina located at the Choctaw rec area.


Tie a peace of silver Christmas tinsel 6 inches above the minnow to attract crappie.


Clip the rear fin on the minnow, then hook the minnow through the back tail.

Enjoy If you copy and paste the coordinates into google maps search bar it will give you a good idea of where each is located.

Sorry about not PMing you Last (this time) March there where about 10 boats in the Choctaw area spider rigging and another two or three slow trolling. Mostly older guys that are retired. Spring break in Ark does not hit for another week. You'll have the run of the lake next week. I guess now it will be even more popular

It will be tough fishing for awhile now muddy with trash floating everywhere.

Hopefully it will settle down some by early April.

If we don't get any more heavy rains things should settle and hopefully the bite will be on!

Sure lookin forward to it! I fished for walleye quite a bit when I lived up in Washington state while in the Air Force...wouldnt mind a few of those tasty critters as well. Maybe Ill run into some of yall out there that week. Wont be able to miss my old brown '77 crappie boat. Should have some CDC sticker on it by then. Theyre lost in the mail right now...
