Just tell me what his boat looks like and Ill stick real close and bring my binoculars...
Jus kiddin...this isnt a full-on dedicated fishing week..Lots of other things Ill be doing with the family...so hiring a guide, (while well worth it Im sure) Isnt really an option. If I can just get an idea of where the fish will be that time of year I should be able to figure em out. Its just a different body of water than what Im accustomed to..cold, clear and deep. Unlike my 20' max depth swampwaters down here.
Troll an 1/8 th oz pink jighead with a white twister tail up and down the bank across from choctaw marina Me and my dad could fill a semi truck with numbers of crappie we have pulled outta there.

No luck yet on the semi, so I tried a Daihatsu, it didn't work out. Still searching.

My internet search indicates that the roads will allow 80,000 lbs on a semi. If a person got on some good ones, he would need 106,666 3/4 lb crappie and one little one, to stay road legal on that semi. That would be 5,333 20 fish limits which would be 14.6 years of catching a 20 fish limit of 3/4 pounders everyday. Of course it wouldn't take quite this long since you would have 3 extra days to fish due to the leap years.
I'm just kidding ya'll so don't take me any kind of serious.
Really, go hire Creekslick, it will be money well spent. Those deep clear lakes beat me like a drum.

Only take 1/2 that long. 80,000 is gross wt. normal load 40-42000 lbs, but still don' t think I will make it!!
