    Very nice. I bet pulling those suckers up from that deep is a blast. Cant say that ive ever caught a crappie deeper that 20'. Thanks for the post and pics!!

    Hey FOSH I know several people who fish there like the rosey red minnows or pinkies as some call them. Do you prefer those or shiners, large or small ones? I've just started using minnows lately and an amazed that peoples opinions on minnows is about like that of politics. Pretty strong. Thanks

    This time of year I like the large crappie minnows I've never tried the pinks but I'm willing to try them if they will catch more fish. There's definitely some strong opinions out there and rightfully so crappie are known for being picky eaters. Saturday was just one of those days everything came into place I started noticing that some of the bait balls were elongated in shape and a little more scattered than others I could see white streaks coming off the bottom into them on the DI every time I got my bait just under them I would get bit.
