    Default Okatibbee 3-7

Steve and I enjoyed a nice morning on the water today. We pushed jigs and nibbles from around 8:30 till 12:30. We kept 41. As Thump says, "no minners were harmed". Lol Here's a sample of what we kept, I couldn't get them all on the ironing board. Name: uploadfromtaptalk1425767641477.jpg

We had some good ones. The Okatibbee Special, orange and chartreuse, was the best jig.

Glad to get away from minnows, much rather fish with jigs and nibbles. Our best day in months. We did have a few very nice ones. A couple of females were squirting eggs and had one black male that had his courting suit on, fine looking fish.

Good mess of crappie. How deep were they and what water depth. If you don't mind sharing a little information please. I may be able to talk the wife into us going next week. Thanks in advance.

We had 55 today, and it was nice to meet you and Steve today. Our best color was pink and black or green and red

It was great to meet you too Buck. We did best on orange/chartreuse and solid silver jigs.
