    Jigging, love the thump

cray; You were right in a way, but there are so many ways to crappie fish now a days that when I go fishing I don't know which way I want to try to catch crappie. I think I have watched too many crappie video's and read way to many posts here on the crappie web sites this past winter. Seeing and reading about people catching a limit of 12" to 17" crappie with different techniques and styles. It's just hard to do even one without wanting to try another. I only have 2 hands and when spider fishing with 6 poles at one time. It's hard to pickup a casting rod and cast it at the same time or try to jig with another. I think that is what they call "multitasking" or was it multicasting anyway I figured if I could I would find out how people would fish if they only was allowed just one way to crappie fish. Be safe and good luck fishing

I'm saying spider rigging with minnows, but with that same set up I can push cranks or just sit over a brush pile and be the same as jigging

Big difference between sitting over brush with spider rig using minnows and fishing a jig pole with a jig.

    Jigging for me.

The first two aren't really fishing, in the same class as running nets or snagging. If you only had one choice for the rest of your life

Going with the single pole jigging crowd. From that set up you can cast, dock shoot, float and fly, and be versitle between fishing from a boat or bank. Not knocking any of the trolling techniques but you have to have a boat to employ them.
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
