The Lowrance Elite 7 DSI is hard to beat for the money. Good size and excellent graphics. That said, I plan to put a helix on my front, just 2D and GPS. I have the US2 transducer on my MK and plan to use it. I can see my Lowrance from the front also.
I have a 3.5" HB up front so the 5" will seem big to me.
