Thread: Lake Camelot Ice fishing tournament

I don't have the exact number yet , but we had a good turn out . The fish were biting just about everywhere . Big crappie was 1.73 lbs I'll post the full results when they come out.

How did the tournament go? Wanted to go but didn't make it this year.

It went pretty good. Only had a little over a hundred compete, local store thought they had cancelled it and gave out bad info. So I heard , can't confirm . Went out Friday nite had 10" ice. They would come up to the jig. Follow the jig but would not hit it? Drives me crazy Ready for soft water

I heard the same thing at Crappie madness, someone was saying the tournament was cancelled. I told them my buddy (GoBob) said it was a go. I was wishing I was fishing. I type this as I sit at my work table in the man cave. Thy table has all my lures on it, sorting everything out for soft water season. Spooled all my poles last weekend.
I still need to download my waypoints and research those in greater detail. Work on the boat, and plan some campouts. Only a month to go.

You ever get the auto chart Tim ?

No not yet. I need a few more questions answered. Mostly If I scan a lake at lower water level, can I only scan the new area under high water and merge the two files together? Or do I have to rescan the whole lake again at high water level?
