    Default Tellico 2/4/15


    This morning was the hottest bite I have seen in a long, long time! For the first hour (9 - 10) every time I dropped a minnow down, I got bit. I caught nine nice crappie during the first hour, but then it slowed a bit. Caught 5 more over the next hour, and ran out of minnows. Tried jigging for that last one, but they didn't want a jig. The smallest was 10", and only one that size. The rest were 11" and up. Fished 12 -15 ft in 28 FOW. Water temp was between 41 - 43. Good time, but the cold front is coming through, and the wind with it! Every day brings us closer to spring!!
