Default Been Trying To Make a Jig That Looks Like a Rosey Red For a While Now

Anyway if you have never seen a Rosey Red Minnow or used them, they are so much better than shiners. I got to use them in Arkansas a couple years back and they live longer and are a lot tougher than a shiner. So I have been working on this ever since when I had time. I got the chenille over a year ago now and tied a couple minnow head jig to show, but I wanted a Roadrunner type bait for this and got a few Pony heads to tie up so I could ask you guys what you think. Here are my 3 versions and yes 2 look very close and may not really be different enough, but the other is different for sure and also a couple pics of the Rosey Red minnows so you can see the color range. Well not totally because some look almost the color of a shiner, but I love the ones with a little color difference.

So here are the jigs and please tell me what you think.

At the store I'd pick up the last one but there's one lake here where they use goldfish for bait so the first two still have great potential too! Jerry A

Thanks guys, when I started this actually sent the woman (not there any longer) these pictures and then I picked some color combos I wanted to see a sample of and the they made some samples trying to get close. So the chenille colors are mixed between them and myself as far as picking the country combos. Heck I must have had a dozen different sample to look at and narrowed them to these to buy. Anyway it's been a fun venture and just seems I enjoy the having an idea to try and get that to a reality to actualy try fishing with. It's hard to tell but both the top 2 have Crystal in it and the bottom one has none. I do intend on trying these come spring. Should be fun all over again!
