Hey guys....I just saw where the Oklahoma CDC crew started a Saturday morning get together for breakfast....they had 13 for their first meeting today.....I thought it was a great idea....just wondering if anyone would be interested in doing this in Baton Rouge one day....I know Piccadilly on South Sherwood Forrest has a breakfast buffet on Saturdays and they have a meeting room......just would have to check on the availability.....I think we have a fair number of guys in this area....what do you think.....here is the link to the Oklahoma thread....

Hey PS,
I'd go, but Saturday morning wouldn't work for me most of the time. I'd be fishing.

Im seein a trend here...Louisiana boys put fish in the freezer while everybody else drinks coffee and talks about it.. Kiddin...if I lived down there I'd be in...I like eatin almost as much as fishin
Excellent idea Bruce, wish it was in Lafayette. I'd be there just for the fellowship.

P.S.
Good idea & it'd be fun,...I'd love to meet everyone, but I'm n the same predicament as J.R...I'm usually fishing on Saturday mornings! I like your thinking though!
That is a good idea would like to have one around Shreveport & Bossier City La.

This past saturday would have been perfect...nobody went after them far as I could tell. I took advantage of the time off of the water to perform yearly maintenance to my merc. Got the lower unit oil and engine oil changed...good to go for another year. But a breakfast meeting would have been a nice alternative....
On a side note, I brougt the motor into cajun outboards last year at this time to have the impeller changed, and I had them do the oil too. Them guys put the filter on so tight that if my neighbor hadn't shown up with some 18" channel lock pliers I'd still be out there cussing and spitting. It didn't even ease up till I turned it a full turn! Why the heck would anyone put an oil filter on that dang tight? Then I broke two screw drivers trying to get the dang lower unit screws loose...I just had to vent for a minute....
Mr Bruce, I'm in if the weather ain't good enough to fish and my wife ain't got me running the roads....
