    Default 99 cent neck warmer.

I've been looking for a turtle neck shirt or a "dickie" to keep my neck warm in these cold temps but they are hard to find. I just made me a "dickie" out of a 99 cent beanie from Wally World. I just turned the beanie inside out and cut the stitching where it is sewn together at the top. Pulled it down over my head and onto my neck. Got me covered and warm now. I like cheap fixes, lol.

Good job Don. I could have used one last Saturday on lake Erling. It was really cold for South Arkansas. And the bite wasn't that hot either.

I done the same thing at work couple years ago. That .99 tabogan makes a better penis wrinkle than the ones you buy at academy for $20. Just have to put the unraveled end down or the threads tickle your eyes and nose all day.

I ain't gonna wear anything around my neck that even remotely resembles a penis wrinkle. 99 cent neck warmer.

The bite wasn't any better today, fished from 9am till 1pm and caught two, that is 2 fish! Muddy water and the level is jumping up too.

Well, I actually did better than that, I took a needle and thread and just sewed all those loose ends together. Just like store bought.

That's what I was thinking Bill! I haven't heard that phrase in a long time! Reminds me of being young and calling me buddies that. Think I will throw that one out next time one if them does something boneheaded.

I always stop at a service station before I get to the lake and put about 10 wraps of toilet paper around my neck. 1 inch of adhesive tape to keep it from unraveling and good to go. No charge except for the tape and it's cheap. As the day warms up I use it for other purposes.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

I think this thread is going down hill fast. Never heard of a PW before. Sure don't want one around my neck.
