Default I can catch more on Griffin than Crescent!

Really! All this talk of how great Crescent is, well, I beg to differ! Fished most of the day, caught a total of 5 Crappie, and a Gar, and a couple Bass. Coulda done that staying home and fishing on Griffin! Man you really have to work at it to catch them, and believe me, I've gotten used to that fishing Griffin as much as I do. Caught one all morning, then got into a few, but that was it! Slow is as slow does!

Oh, and I fell in my boat at the banana place! There was a bunch of crappie.comers there, and no-one got a pic, whew!

Hmm, ain't bananas bad luck, wonder if'n that had something to do with the catch!

Nothing beats walking out your back door to go fishing. I am 5 minutes from Monroe and the river. It is very difficult for me to go elsewhere.

Did manage this nice 13.5 incher. Sure was fat. One like this off Griffin woulda weighed half as much. This weighed 1bl 6oz. My Father in laws biggest Crappie to date. You can tell by the excitement on his face.

I had caught the front of the boat at 3 bananas at their real high dock. Wind blew the back of the boat into a piling before I noticed, and boom I went. In slow motion, from standing position to the bottom of the boat. Bounced twice! lol

One thing about long(more than 5 minutes) trips to 'wonder lakes' is talking to myself about driving 1 hr., 1 1/2 hr or 5 hrs to go fishing and trolling the paint off my jigs for 1 or 2 fish, but then like today one of the nice ones shows up and it's time to go again. So if you see me driving down the road talking to myself tell me it's time for a grouper trip to the gulf.--Catch a bunch.--shu
