Bass Pro only had a size 7 and a 12 in stock on the treestand boots Ranger discussed. I looked at the muck boots and don't want the height of them OR the expense. I opted for what they call the Expedition line of Redhead. With 1,000 grams of thinsulate and 100% waterproof at a mere $99, They're worth a shot.

My son works for Home Depot and sent me a camo hoody made by Milwaukee Tool, the same people that make the power tools. It has a rechargeable battery to heat it up! He said he saw them while visiting a store in Wisconsin and thought it would be great for cold weather fishing. He said everyone of his employees in that store were wearing one of them so I'm guessing those cold climate people are on to something. No idea what they cost but, might be able to get one on-line?

Since he was at Kaw this morning with Nip, I'm sure Pappa gave it a test run. It was plenty cold at CB this morning, and they were in a more northern clime.
